What does an AI girlfriend cost?

Tokens do three things for an operator: they decouple the visible price from the real one, they let the rate change without a pricing-page edit, and they make the sunk cost of an unspent balance a reason to stay. None of the three benefits the person buying.

The tell is whether you can find out what an image costs without starting to buy one. On most of these products you cannot.

Flirtly publishes a rate per action and shows it on the button before it is pressed: a message, a voice note either direction, a photo, a second of video with her voice. The full table is on the pricing page, derived from the same numbers the product charges, so the page cannot quote a price the product does not honour.

Generation is genuinely metered because GPUs genuinely cost money. Text is the cheap part and always will be, which is why it carries the free allowance.

The free tier is the whole product rather than a trial of it: the full memory, the full story, and a real allowance of messages. What it does not include is generation, because that is the part with a marginal cost.

Worth stating plainly: Flirtly has no checkout open yet. The paid plans are published, the prices are real, and nothing on the site can currently charge a card. That will change when the compliance work behind it is finished.
